Lil' Chugger

The Lil' Chugger is no new kid on the block, having been flown in several configurations since 1988. It is a competition Free Flight airplane developed for AMA 1/2A and A classes, and FAI F1J. It is easily constructed and is a proven winner at the Nats level of competition in the 265 and 300 sizes, with or without Variable Incidence Tailplane (VIT). The Chugger 300 Mk II evolved from a first-generation Chugger 265, originally built in 1988 and based on Gil Morris' Matchsticks, but the construction was simplified and conventional building materials were employed.
