.020 Vagabond
Scaled down from an original OldTimer design by Bill Winter, this popular-sized rep lica has the good looks and great fly ing habits of a model from the time when Free Flight was domi nant in the modeling skies. This design by Bill Winter was recently declared eligible for Society of Antique Modelers (SAM) events. Although it first appeared in plan form in the August 1945 Air Trails, the design actually dates back earlier. This opened up another popular design for SAM competitions, and it is presented here in the .020 Replica class, a popular kind of model for either competitions or sport flying.
