THE MINIATURE Aircraft Association of
Tri Cities, Washington, held its Pacific
NorthWest Float Fly on the third weekend in
May. Twenty-eight pilots attended the
innaugural event.
Jerry Dearing was the CD and did a
marvelous job of hosting a great event. The
youngest pilot was 14 and he also had the
most flights of the event—18—flying his
Great Planes Seawind RXR.
The float fly was held at the Scootney
Reservoir near Othello, Washington. There
are plans to have another event here in the
fall.
The weather was
cold and windy but
there was still a great
turnout. Atta boy to all
involved! Photos by R.
Scott Page.
