IN MAY, members of the Radio Active
Airshows team traveled to Maryland to
perform at the NAS Patuxent River Air
Expo 09. The show included the U.S. Navy
Ceremonial Guard; the Air Force’s Air
Combat Command’s Viper East F-16
Demonstration Team; the U.S. Army’s
Parachute Team, the Golden Knights;
veteran aerobatics performer Patty
Wagstaff; Tim Weber in his GEICO Extra
300; the Aerostars; and the Red Eagles Air
Sports to name a few.
Beautiful weather and huge crowds lead
to an awesome time. To top it off, the team
left out a day early to allow the members to
perform their indoor show for school kids.
On Friday they traveled to Hollywood,
Maryland, to perform at St. Mary’s school
for almost 400 kids.
This was a great trip and an awesome out
reach to the general public.
